A SPECIAL thanks goes out to Jon and Phyl D. for their wonderful hospitality and friendship, we so appreciate all you do! Food, friendship, laundry and Better Call Saul marathon.
We were also able to have a great dinner with Ed N., an old high school friend of Denise's. What a vast wealth of medical knowledge he was able to convey to us. Brilliant and charming, as always.
After these wonderful visits we had with these friends we realize how lucky we are to have ALL of you in our lives.
After we left Ohio we stopped in Asheville, NC for some warmer weather and it didn't disappoint. It was almost 70 degrees and we had a nice hike at the North Carolina Arboretum. This was a much needed change from the full-on winter of northern Ohio.
After this little slice of heaven we realized how much we missed RVilla so we drove back to Cottonwood, AZ where we left her for the month of February and it was so good to be HOME!! My own bed, my own coffee, my own "stuff". It felt great, but we still had one more stop.
I got to surprise my oldest and best friend, Cathy, on her birthday in Denver. Her daughter Ashley did an excellent job on a surprise party and it went off without a hitch. It was great to see the expression on her face when we walked in. We also got to spend some quality time with my niece Jess and her son Keenan. Jim, Jess and I did a yoga class and Jim enjoyed when the instructor commented on him as "beefcake". We may have more yoga in our future.
We are now in Tucson to have warranty work done on RVilla at the Airstream dealer here and to fine tune a few things now that she has been our home since September. Overall we've been extremely pleased with the RV and have only positive things to say.
Another blog post will be coming soon, we just wanted to let everyone know we are back and ready to explore more. Bye for now!
